Kendragon is owned by Laura Fleming. and Watership is owned by Denise LeBlonc-Soderberg. Quite often it is assumed they
are one in the same. Far from it. Each kennel/handling is as individual as Laura and Denise are. Laura has always enjoyed
the breeding end of the dog world while Denise enjoys the competitiveness of the ring. In fact, their differences in personalities
are what makes them a unique team.
Laura is always on the go. She is very friendly and outgoing and always eager to help out anyone. At shows Laura is the
one that is non stop grooming all the dogs. She is fussy and makes sure that every dog is ring ready. In the ring Laura has
fun. Yes she is competitive but always makes sure each dog is happy and relaxed. Outside the ring Laura will sit and happily
chat with those around her. She is always eager to learn new things and readily takes advise. After shows, Laura prefers to
head back to the hotel room and relax with the dogs. Not that much of a TV watcher, Laura would prefer to read Si-Fi or watch
a good Si-Fi movie or work on her computer while listening to rock music.
Denise is an observer. She would rather be back in the grooming area studying the competiton or at ringside watching
the judging. She is aloof but is friendly when approached. At shows Denise plans strategies. She is also fussy over show grooming
and quite often will finish the grooming for Laura. In the ring Denise is all business. She will be polite to others while
calculating the next moves. Outside the ring she watches or will have the occasional conversation with whomever is near by.
Like Laura, Denise is always willing to learn. After shows, Denise would prefer to get in the vehicle and explore whatever
city she is in and see the sites. Denise enjoys some TV but would prefer a good movie. She can listen to any type of
music EXCEPT country.
